Welcome to Fun on the Run!

Our Statement of Beliefs

Fun on the Run believes that all children are competent, capable, curious and rich in potential. By providing children with open-ended learning opportunities that encompass inquiry-based learning, they will develop optimally in all developmental domains. In order to facilitate a positive environment that promotes positive interactions among the children, families and school faculty members, each Fun on the Run staff member will assume the role of a co-learner in each learning day.

Fun on the Run provides a safe, stimulating, and welcoming environment where kindergarten children can learn, play, and grow. The program supports young learners in practicing important skills such as following routines, developing self-regulation, and building communication. Through hands-on activities, creative play, and social interactions, children strengthen their abilities while exploring new interests. Our goal is to meet each child at their developmental stage, nurturing growth across all domains—social, emotional, physical, and cognitive—while fostering confidence and independence.
Grade 1–3 Program offers a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where children can learn, play, and grow outside of school hours. Designed with the developmental needs and interests of young learners in mind, the program provides a balance of structured activities and child-led exploration. Children have opportunities to participate in arts and crafts, active games, sensory exploration, and inquiry-based projects, while also enjoying free play that encourages creativity, social skills, and independence. Our goal is to foster a sense of belonging, build confidence, and support each child’s growth in a fun and meaningful way.
The Grade 4–6 Program offers a dynamic and inclusive environment designed to support the growing independence, creativity, and interests of older children. With a balance of structured activities and opportunities for choice, the program encourages leadership, teamwork, and personal growth. Children can engage in arts, sports, STEM challenges, and group projects that promote problem-solving and collaboration, while also enjoying time for free play and self-directed exploration. Our goal is to empower each child to develop confidence, responsibility, and a sense of community in a safe and supportive setting.
